TV20 became a pro sports destination with with the addition of Detroit Piston's Basketball in 2004 and Detroit Tiger's Baseball in 2006. In the summer of 2006 the call letters were changed to WMYD-TV, and in the fall of 2006 My TV20 Detroit became one of the inaugural affiliates of My Network TV.
